Seasons come, Seasons go.

Tausend Jahre Frieden

    Tausend Jahre Frieden wunderbarer Traum

President's Message

Dear Members,

We closed 2009 with our Christmas and New Year’s Eve Parties. Our Christmas Party was the best yet! The decorations, the food, the entertainment all hit the spot.
With our choir, led by Ann Heise, and keyboard accompaniment by daughter Chrissy, and drummer grandson Zack, a very Merry Christmas Party was there for us to enjoy.  The Christmas story produced by Lisa Yaskulski also kept us in the mood. And last but not forgotten, Ed & Rosemarie Jost as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Poinsettias were given as a gift to all members that attended and we delivered some to members who were sick. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and the Board for the great job you do throughout the year to make our club the great success it is!

New Year’s Eve was lots of fun but not heavily attended. The Board will see what can be done to improve attendance.

2010 will begin with our Inaugural Ball and Volunteer Dinner, followed by our Valentine Dance, Entertainers from Germany, Heimatabend, Heritage Day, Club Picnic, Strauß Ball, and Bavarian Night! These will be great affairs, so buy your tickets early.  Please read our newsletter for dates and times. It’s very important because some dates have changed.

I hope to see you at the January 7th meeting. Have a happy, and most important, a healthy New Year. Keep on smiling.

Klaus.
