Seasons come, Seasons go.

Tausend Jahre Frieden

    Tausend Jahre Frieden wunderbarer Traum

Presidents Message:
The end of the first half of our event year is near, with the Picnic and two dances to enjoy before vacation.
But what a time we had the last three months. Beginning with the Inaugural Ball, we had the Volunteer,
                                   Appreciation Dinner, Valentine Dance, then
the German Entertainers and Heimatabend. I don’t
know about you but one affair stood out, and that
was the German Entertainers. The Board and all the
volunteers put in a lot of time and effort to make an
event better than the last one. Our club should be
proud of our volunteers. Without them our club
would not be as great as it is!
Lately, I have noticed that the attendance is down at
our dances. The choir noticed it too on Heimatabend.
The Board will look for ways to remedy this. By the
way, we were only 14 strong in the choir but we still
sounded great due to the leadership of Ann Heise.
The months of June, July and August are vacation
time, and the Board is already planning for Sept.,
Oct., Nov. and Christmas.
So, in closing, I say to all members: have a great
summer with family and friends and when you hear
music somewhere, “da lass Dich nieder böse Menschen
kennen keine Lieder!”
Stay healthy and keep on smiling, it doesn’t cost
anything.
                                   Auf Wiedersehen, Klaus

A BIG Thank You to the Constitution Committee
& the Audit Committee for their hard work!
